At last night’s SPRINT training class each team presented a final report on their trips and the work of their host partners. This group of 30 students is looking forward to exciting and mutually-enriching experiences around the world this summer!

Hi I’m Brooke, I am the Guatemala team leader! I am a sophomore this year and an Apparel Design Major and Art Minor. I am so excited to go on this trip. I look forward to living in a culture unlike my own, learning from the people we encounter, and cultivating relationships there.
Hi all–I’m Lindsey! I am a freshman, Elementary Education major from Snohomish, Washington. I am so excited to be serving with my amazing team during this trip as we teach English in a local school. I feel blessed to have this opportunity and can’t wait to be immersed in the Guatemalan culture.
Hi Everyone! I’m Gwen! I am a freshman this year and an Elementary Education major. I could not be more excited to spend a month with these amazing ladies in Guatemala! I can’t wait to serve God in this new way and learn new things from the people of Guatemala.
Hola I’m Alexis! I am a freshman and am currently undecided in my major but am leaning towards Communications or Sociology. I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to go to Guatemala with these four hilarious ladies. I cannot wait to experience God in a different culture and witness His amazing love!

Working with America Latina’s K-12 Christian school students will experience leadership development, education and community outreach. Homestays offer opportunities for cultural immersion. Students will serve in school classrooms and afterschool programs.
